Introducing a low-cost, volunteer/parent-coached program that will provide an environment for every player to participate on a team, regardless of their interest or ability.
Our Recreational program will provide a fun, creative and non-stressful environment to develop not only soccer players but responsible young men and women.

DEVELOPMENT FOR ALL PLAYERS

Our Recreational program will provide a fun, creative and non-stressful environment to develop not only soccer players but responsible young men and women. Using a curriculum developed by SA United Soccer Club, players will be able to enhance their technical and tactical skills, while building fitness and socializing with friends.
Sessions will be held at GVTC Communications SportsPlex and players will have 1 weekly session for 1 hour.
Age-appropriate training led by volunteer/parent managers/coaches.

Feb-April

Spring season

Age-appropriate training led by volunteer/parent managers/coaches who will follow the SA United competitive program curriculum that focuses on player development using the Four Pillars: Technical, Tactical, Physical and Social.

Aug-Dec

Fall season

Sessions will be held at GVTC Communications SportsPlex and players will have 1 weekly session for 1 hour, led by volunteer team coach/manager.  The season will run for approximately 10 weeks depending on league schedule.

We also offer a free training evaluation for anyone that is interested in experiencing our soccer club (outside of tryouts) and having our professional coaching staff asses your child's ability.

    Fees are for regular season and games.

  • Training and game day
    All age groups include an SA United Training Jersey.

    Play-up requests, only if approved by the club DOC or the Recreational Director.

    Every team will have a parent volunteer coach to run training sessions and the weekend games. He/she will also act as a communication liaison between the parents and the club.

    Our goal is to provide every player with a team on which to play.

    Balanced teams to provide fair, meaningful and competitive games. This will mean teams will have varying levels of skill.

    All players play 50%, unless due to illness, injury or disciplinary reasons.

    When players register, they are placed on a team. Players can request to play with friends.  

  • Player essentials

    Shin guards, cleats and team uniform are required for all games and training.

    Players at U7-U12 age groups use a size 4 soccer ball.

    Players at U13-U14 age groups use a size 5 soccer ball.

  • Team playing formats and game lengths

    U7-U8 teams play a 4v4 game format with 2x20 minute halves.

    U9-U14 teams play a 7v7 game format with 2x25 minute halves.
