With a clear focus on developing an individuals technical and tactical abilities, each player should have a solid technical base.
Over the last 19 years we have formed a wonderful base of fully qualified full-time staff, backed up by our excellent part-time developmental coaches. Our club excels in producing not only skillful, intelligent, technical soccer players, but also fantastic human beings, ready for life's challenges as they complete our programs and venture out into the world.

We offer multiple pathways to elite level soccer. Our boys compete in the MLS NEXT - Pioneer Division,  while our girls compete in the DPL and the USCTX-RL. We also offer Select programs  for both genders.

Dedicated Program Directors oversee each of our Elite, Select and Competitive programs. They follow the clubs training philosophy and develop our players to the highest levels.

    Texas Two is a male platform only independent second division league for MLS Next clubs in Texas that offers a high level competitive platform for U11-U19 boys.
  • Birth years 2012 | U13 - 2005 | U19.
    The EA is a male only platform, composed of member clubs that represent elite competitive clubs in their market and have shown to be of the highest standard.
  • Birth years 2012 | U13 - 2005 | U19.
    The DPL is a female only platform standards driven National League that encourages clubs to compete and grow, creating community around the game.

Development Player League - DPL.

The DPL is a standards driven National League that encourages clubs to compete and grow, developing the player and empowering them in a purposeful and memorable environment.
  • Birth years 2012 | U13 - 2005 | U19.
    Players will be able to showcase their talent, discover collegiate opportunities and create community around the game.

MLS NEXT - Pioneer Division.

Regular season play will begin in September 2025, which will be accompanied by regional tournaments and an opportunity to attend MLS NEXT national events, as well as coaching development and education programs.

Texas Two | TX2.

Texas 2 is an independent second division league for MLS Next clubs in Texas that offers a high level competitive platform for U11-U19 boys.
  • The Texas Two inaugural season kicked off in Fall 2024. Additionally, High School aged players will have the opportunity to engage in High School soccer, further enriching their developmental journey.

Select programs - WDDOA.

The Western District Division One Association (WDDOA) is dedicated to providing high-quality soccer competition and development opportunities for youth players, aiming to elevate the standard of youth soccer and nurture the next generation of soccer talent.
  • Birth years 2013 | U11 - 2005 | U19.
    Our Select teams compete primarily in the WDDOA, across SCL, Prime, Challenger and Alpha divisions.

Elite Academy | EA.

The EA is composed of member clubs that represent elite competitive clubs in their market and have shown to be of the highest standard.
  • The league will serve to provide a seamless elite pathway for clubs and players to excel in the competitive landscape.

Fall season, 2024.

Our Competitive teams are formed every Fall and Spring season and are entered into National, State and Regional competition.

Players register for the full season each year, with tryouts for teams typically taking place in May of each year.
  • Fees are for regular season training and games. We also offer a sibling discount to anyone interested in joining. Please click here for more info.
    Elite: MLS NEXT - Pioneer Division, Development Player League.
    National platform soccer is available to all of our elite teams, competing in high level and elite standard leagues and events.

  • Training sessions with SA United professional coaching staff and 28 training sessions per season (minimum).
    Elite: MLS NEXT - Pioneer Division, Development Player League.
    3 training sessions per week.
    Competitive: State Classic League, WDDOA Prime.
    2-3 training sessions per week.
    Select: WDDOA Challenger/Alpha.
    2 training sessions per week.
  • Birth years 2013 | U11 - 2009 | U14
    Rosters are selected at tryouts (typically May each year), and players are signed on 12-month contracts. At these age groups, league brackets record wins, losses, and ties with home and away games, maybe including travel inside and outside of San Antonio.
    Birth years 2008 | U15 - 2005 | U19
    Rosters are selected at tryouts (typically May each year), and players are signed on 12-month contracts. At these age groups, wins, losses and ties are recorded with no 50% play rule. Senior teams will be expected to enter College Showcase Tournaments and our Elite level teams will attend one National event as mandatory.
  • Our seasonal Competitive schedule incorporates training dates, times and game day information for all age groups. Dependent on level of play and coaches preference, Training days and times are set before the start of the season.

    Training dates are TBA.
    Birth years 2008 | U15 - 2005 | U19
    Training dates are TBA.
  • Shin guards, cleats and team uniform are required for all games and training.
    Players at U11-U12 age groups use a size 4 soccer ball.

    Players at U13-U14 age groups use a size 5 soccer ball.

    Players at U15-U19 age groups use a size 5 soccer ball.

    U11-U12 teams play a 9v9 game format with 2x30minute halves.

    U13-U14 teams play a 11v11 game format with 2x35 minute or 2x40 minute halves, depending on competition.

    U15-U16 teams play a 11v11 game format with 2x40minute halves.

    U17-U19 teams play a 11v11 game format with 2x45 minute  halves.
